Devices are applied as a resource of confidential information destruction at its recycling, and also at occurrence of danger of its outflow, disclosure, plunder, wrongful operation with the information.
It is made in metal not folding tank. The magnetic medium for erasing is located inside of the device. Destruction of the in-formation is made ONLY at arrival of the command from the user.

There are modifications of desktop (as the separate device) and internal (built in standard computer tank) fulfillments.

Models "2С-994-У" and "2С-994-У2" (desktop) are differ from "2С-994-В" and "2С-994-В2" (built in) by presence of the built - in button on tank of the device and the raised speed of recharging (10-15 sec.). They are recommended for guaranteed information destruction from magnetic media at their recycling or before delivery to the service centre. It is delivered as the separate device.

Models "2С-994-В" and "2С-994-В2" (built in) are differ from "2С-994-У" and "2С-994-У2" (desktop) by the re-duced power consumption, raised hard disc cooling system during an operating time, possibility of connection of the erasing handle block by a radio channel and outputs for activation button placed on a computer tank. Information erasing from a hard disk is possible both at working, and the switched off computer.
The device is installed into a computer at a regular place of additional devices (CD-Rom, etc) and takes up in height two 5 inch bays. It does not influence during an operating time for computer components operation and other disk drives of the information.
It is recommended for the servers equipment in АТХ - tank or separate computers with the confidential information operation is made for its instant destruction at occurrence of danger of its outflow, disclosure, plunder, wrongful operation with the infor-mation, etc.

It is delivered as:
- OEM-devices for independent installation into a computer tank ;
- standard ATX-tank, with the hidden activation button built in tank, with connection of the device power supply to the network plug of a power supply unit of a computer.

The device does not require an additional service at maintenance.

Delivery package:

There are modifications for information destruction from audio, video cassettes, streamer cartridges, Zip, etc. The Information from a disk drive is deleted completely, together with auxiliary, necessary for operation. Therefore it is im-possible to reuse a disc drive on a hard disc after erasing.

Features of devices, realized in serial models:

1. The raised disc drives cooling during an operation. Two fans of cooling, a configuration of tank and allocation of air streams in the device eliminate possibility of hard disc overheating during its operation. At the same time, power supplies of cooling system from a computer power supply unit reduces energy consumption at the switched off computer and, accordingly, an idle magnetic device.

2. Two impulses of information destruction in models 2С-994-У2 and 2С-994-В2. Power of each impulse is enough for 100 % of information destruction. However for exception of magnetic memories effect of the domains, theoretically permitting to restore the information, we use two impulses, directed under a corner of 180 degrees to each other. Besides, each impulse is formed by its own cascade, (i.e. two independent devices are combined in the given device) owing to general reliability of the device raises. The oscillogram of a magnetic field inside the device at erasing process is resulted in a figure.

3. Device dimensions allow using maximum effectively free space inside a computer. Hard standard installation to a regular place of additional disk drives in tank of a computer (sizes - 5 ` 25 in the width, two slots in height) does installation of the device as simple as usual CD-ROM. Alteration of standard interface cables and disk drive are not required.

4. Remote handle. Models 2С-994-В and 2С-994-В2 are designed for remote handle by a radio channel. The algorithm of buttons pressing at radio charms eliminates random operations.

5. Activation button. The device can be supplied with an activation button located both on the device (tank of a computer) and remote from the device for a distance up to 150 meters. Thus on the button installation of the sense light of line integrity (LINK WITH the DEVICE), indicating is provided. It shows that the device works, it is ready to information destruction and the commu-nication circuit is not broken. Thus as the algorithm eliminating random activation is provided.

6. Self-test. The device has the block of self-test and protection which watches critical faults and prevents attempt of mainte-nance of the device at short-circuited buttons of activation, application of faulty radio channels, breakdown of power units, etc.

7. Not folding metal tank. The device is released in not folding metal tank provided high security from mechanical damages passes a complete cycle of testing and does not assume the further repair or interference by indirect experts. Completely the metal tank provides additional protection against electromagnetic radiations and interferences, both the device, and an envi-ronment (especially at the moment of erasing).

8. Low energy consumption. The device (especially built in version) has reduced consumption of energy and low requirements to power supplies. Working capacity of the device is saved at power supplies from 180 up to 260V. Low currents of power sup-ply allow reducing expenses for the electric power, using effectively sources of the backup power supply (UPS and others).
